User permissions (admin only)
Learn common permissions used to assign to user accounts/roles (admin only)
Listed below are common permissions with explanations that can be assigned to users/roles in the reporting system.
| Permission | Description |
| Footfall | Allows user to report on footfall traffic and view shared footfall dashboards. If set to OFF, the user cannot generate reports. Shared footfall dashboards will not display data. |
| Weather | Allows the user to report on weather and include weather widgets in dashboards. |
| Maps | Provides user access to Maps (visual representation of location showing counter locations and traffic heatmaps). |
| Age and Gender | Provides access to Age and Gender reporting. |
| Advanced Period Steps | Provides more granularity (below 15 minutes) for time interval reporting (e.g. every 5 minutes, every minute. NB: each sensor needs to be set to reporting the same level of granularity. |
| Events |
Adds an events calendar to the left side menu. When set to ON, a user can view events in both the calendar and reporting (both chart and report table). This feature is handy to determine a correlation between events and foot traffic e.g. if a promotion encouraging store traffic is having success. |
| Manage Events | Enables a user to add/edit events in the events calendar. |
| Promote to library | Allows a user to share a dashboard to a ‘library’ so it can be used as a template for generating other reports. |
| Allow embedding | Allows a user to share a dashboard or widget to a website/screen by displaying the html code to be used. |
| View only |
When set to ON, this permission overwrites any other permissions that are activated to a view only role. Restrictions includes: |
| Manage Users |
Allows ability to create and manage users. |
| Reset inside |
Allows ability to reset occupancy widget. |
| Share reports |
Allows a user to share a saved report to roles. |
